Richmond, KY – Richmond Raceway Promoters Joey and Tiffany Tackett are hoping the rain will stay away long enough to get some dirt track racing action this weekend.  After two rainouts, it seems like an eternity since the cars have taken to the exciting paperclip racing Richmond Raceway always offers.

This weekend, May 18, there are so many exciting things happening.  Not only is it the $300 to win Four Cylinder Fury; we also are recognizing our high school students and soon to be graduates with Grad Night.  All High School Students will receive free admission to the grandstand area this Saturday, May 18.  High school students be sure to attend sign up for many prizes.  There are gas cards, Butterball Tickets, gift certificates, tshirts and much more up for grabs.  And why not come hang out with your friends?  IT’S FREE!!

Also in action this weekend is the Super Late Models, Tax Wise Open Wheel Modifieds, and Sportsman.  This is the debut weekend for the Super Late Models so be sure to come see all the new cars and color schemes the drivers will be showcasing for the 2013 season.

Gates in the grandstand area open at 6:00. Senior citizens get in for $10, ages 13 and up are $12, kids 6-12 are $3 and children 5 and under are FREE!  On the pit side the gates open at 4:30.  Admission prices are still FREE to children 5 and under, $5 for kids 6-12, and $30 for ages 13 and up.  Pill draw ends at 6:15 with the drivers meeting set for 6:30 and hot laps shortly after.
