Richmond Raceway Promoters are working diligently to present the biggest and best event in the 48 year track history. The 27th Annual $10,000 to win Sunoco Race Fuels Butterball™ will take place this Saturday, July 12.  This is the 3rd of 5 Battle of the Super Series (B.O.S.S.) races at Richmond Raceway.

As if $10,000 to win wasn’t enough; the first ever Butterball™ Challenge will also be in play.  The winner of heat number one will have the pole position in the feature.  Prior to the feature green flag, the pole sitter will be asked if he wants to give up his pole position to start in 20th place.  If he chooses to do so, the pole sitter and only the pole sitter will be racing his way through the 50 lap event for $25,000.  Yes, $25,000! Be sure to mark your calendars for this epic event.

Also in action during Butterball™ is the Real Country 107.5 Modifieds racing for $1,000 and the Pit Stop Sportsmans racing for $600.  With great car counts all season in both classes Saturday’s event is sure to be amazing.
Gates will open for this once in a lifetime event at 3:30 on the pit side and 5:00 on the grandstand side. Grandstand admission prices are $25 for anyone 13 and over, $5 for kids 6-12 and FREE to children 5 and under.  Pit prices are $40 for ages 13 and up, $10 for kids 6-12 and FREE to kids 5 and under.

Gates will be open from Thursday through Saturday morning for anyone wishing to put chairs or blankets on seats.  Richmond Raceway officials are not responsible for lost, stolen or moved seat markers. Due to limited seating for this event 6 pack coolers only are permitted.  Anything larger will be turned away.  NO BOTTLES PERMITTED.
