Richmond, KY- April 1, 2013 – As the 2013 race season approaches Richmond Raceway Track Promoters Joey and Tiffany Tackett are more ready than ever to get the gates open and some dirt slinging.  The season kicks off this Saturday, April 6, with the Inaugural $1000 to win Tax Wise Open Wheel Modified March Madness.
Gates for the first event of the year open on the pit side at 4:30 and at 6:00 on the grandstand with hot laps set to start at 6:45 and qualifying for the Tax Wise Modifieds shortly after.  Also in action will be the Sportsman and Four Cylinder classes.
Be sure to visit the website to vote on specials at the concession stand and stay up to date on all of the events taking place in the 2013 season at the much improved Richmond Raceway.  Admission prices for opening night are reduced to $10 for ages 13 and up on the grandstands with children 6-12 getting in for $3.00 and 5 and under receiving free admission.  On the pit side it has been reduced to $25 for ages 13 and up, $5.00 for 6-12 and free for children 5 and under.
Fans be on the lookout for off season improvements and additions such as Richmond Raceway Dirt Stars!!! Come see what all the excitement is about!
