Lee Victorious in Finn Watson Memorial Event at Richmond Raceway

Richmond, KY (May 23, 2015) Richmond Raceway would present the inaugural running of the Finn Watson Memorial on Saturday evening and Victor Lee of Danville, KY would score the event win and pick up the $2,000 payday for the Barry Turner of Century 21 Advantage Realty Super Late Models.  Todd Coffman of Parksville, KY would win the $800 to win special for the REVELution Race Cars Pro Late Models.  Other feature event winners would include Jeff Watson of Campbellsville, KY in Modifieds, Glen Hounshell, Jr. of Mount Vernon, KY in KDRA Super Stocks, and Dave McCarty of Owingsville, KY in Four Cylinders.

 

Finn Watson Memorial Rolls at Richmond Raceway on Saturday May 23

Richmond, KY (May 17, 2015) Richmond Raceway co-promoters Larry, Chad, and Sarah Yantz will return the 3/10 mile clay oval known as “The Beast of the East” back to action this Saturday night May 23 as the track will present the inaugural running of the Finn Watson Memorial event, paying $2,000 to win for Barry Turner of Century 21 Advantage Realty Super Late Models and $800 to win for the REVELution Race Cars Pro Late Models, along with a full racing program for Modifieds, KDRA Super Stocks, and Four Cylinders, while the Warlock Race Cars Mini-Cup/Cyclone division has the night off.

 

Saturday Night Showdown at Richmond Raceway Rained Out for Saturday May 16

Richmond, KY (May 16, 2015) Richmond Raceway was set to return to racing action after a week off, but Mother Nature would have other notions as she continues to not be a race fan in 2015 and track co-promoters Larry, Chad, and Sarah Yantz have been forced to cancel the Saturday Night Showdown racing program that was scheduled for Saturday May 16, marking the third rained out event of the 2015 season at the 3/10 mile clay oval known as “The Beast of the East”.

 

Saturday Night Showdown Set for Richmond Raceway This Saturday May 16

Richmond, KY (May 10, 2015) Richmond Raceway co-promoters Larry, Chad, and Sarah Yantz will return the 3/10 mile clay oval known as “The Beast of the East” back to action this Saturday night May 16 as the track will present the Saturday Night Showdown that will feature the American Dirt Allstars KDRA Super Stocks in action racing for $1,000 to win and Four Cylinders in action racing for $500 to win, plus a full racing program for all other divisions.

 

No Racing at Richmond Raceway May 9; Saturday Night Showdown Next on May 16

Richmond, KY (May 3, 2015) Richmond Raceway co-promoters Larry, Chad, and Sarah Yantz will have Richmond Raceway closed on Saturday May 9, but racing return to the 3/10 mile clay oval known as “The Beast of the East” with the Saturday Night Showdown on Saturday May 16.
