Richmond, KY (April 16, 2015) Richmond Raceway co-promoters Larry, Chad, and Sarah Yantz have cancelled the Richmond Rumble that was scheduled for FRIDAY April 17 due to the wet condtions of the grounds at the track after heavy rains on Tuesday that caused flooding in and around the area at the track, followed by more rains that fell on Wednesday. The event will not be rescheduled at this time.
Richmond, KY (April 12, 2015) With the “Dawn of a New Era” season opener a huge success and now in the rear view mirror, Richmond Raceway co-promoters Larry, Chad, and Sarah Yantz are set to present a doubleheader of racing action at Richmond Raceway on FRIDAY April 17 and SATURDAY April 18 as the Richmond Rumble will take place on Friday April 17, with the Spring Shootout set for the following evening on Saturday April 18 at the 3/10 mile clay oval known as “The Beast of the East”.
Richmond, KY (April 11, 2015) Richmond Raceway kicked off “The Dawn of a New Era” on Saturday evening as the Yantz family officially opened the 3/10 mile Madison County clay oval for action and opening night feature event winners included Victor Lee of Danville, KY in Barry Turner of Century 21 Advantage Realty Super Late Models, Cameron Marlar of Winfield, TN in Modifieds, Todd Coffman of Parksville, KY in REVELution Race Cars Pro Late Models, Russ Gabbert of Berea, KY in KDRA Super Stocks, Brian Ferguson of Ezel, KY in Four Cylinders, and Scott Crusenberry of Williamsburg, KY in Warlock Race Cars Mini-Cup/Cyclones.
